Making Our Communities a Better Place
At Servco, we want to help build great places to live, work, and play. Servco team members worldwide partner with nonprofit organizations to better our local environments and help those less fortunate. Every two years, as part of our Servco Gives program, our employees select charitable causes to focus on in our community (i.e. animals, homelessness, etc.). Team Serve, our volunteer committee, then manages community service projects and charity partnerships that leverage the manpower of our 1,100 U.S. employees.
In addition, Servco has two foundations, The Fukunaga Scholarship Foundation and Servco Foundation, both of which are funded primarily by Servco’s earnings. We believe that by sharing our success, principles, and practices with our community partners, we help build a better world for all.
Our commitment to giving back started with our founder, Peter Fukunaga, who started the Fukunaga Scholarship Foundation in 1950. Each year, Hawaii students can apply to receive a four-year scholarship to help them pursue a degree in Business. Over its history, the Foundation has helped more than 400 students, who continue to contribute to Hawaii’s business community including several who now work at Servco.
